Ryan specializes in urban economics and data science, bringing a rigorous analytical perspective to the intersection of arts and culture, land use policy, public finance, and economic development. At CVL Economics, he applies innovative methodologies and economic theory to deliver actionable insights for clients. Prior to joining CVL, Ryan served as a Senior Associate at Economic & Planning Systems (EPS) in Oakland and previously led the Economic and Revenue Forecasting practice at Beacon Economics in Los Angeles. He holds a master’s degree in statistics from Cal State Fullerton, where he researched computational methods for addressing contemporary planning and urban economic issues, as well as dual bachelor’s degrees in economics and statistics from Cal State East Bay.
